The Nintendo 64 system was the third Nintendo system, and released in 1996. It was named after its 64-bit CPU. This was the last Nintendo home console to use cartridges. Because it used cartridges, its game capacity was very limited compared to consoles using a CD. Despite this, Nintendo released some of the most amazing games ever made. Games like Super Mario 64 and Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
